Eric Spade

This is Eric, or Mr. Spade, or just Spade as I’m better known around here. I don’t have time to write my own blog because I’m putting together fishing gear and poles for EVERYONE. I love fishing. I mean, I LOVE FISHING! So Barb and Jamie are writing this for me. During the school year I work at Bartlett High School as a Graduation Coordinator. Up until very recently I worked at McLaughlin Youth Center in the detention unit, I don’t think I know any of you from there, do I?

Did you know I like to fish. I like to fish so much that I am willing to haul everyone’s gear, set it up, hand out poles and waders and teach anyone to fish. I do all this just so I can get 10-15 minutes of fishing in for me. Then I fillet some of your fish, put all the gear back in my wife’s now fishy-smelling car, take home the waders to hose off in my free time and then bring it all back to be stored for our next trip. At that time I’ll do it all over again for just those brief moments of standing in the river trying to outfish Sunny. You should have seen the silver that just got away. It was a lot bigger than the one sunny caught. Really.
