Hey everybody, my name is Kevin and we will be working together for the next couple of weeks, I think it's going to be really fun. I was born and raised here in Anchorage and I recently graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. I studied a lot about Russia while I was in college and even learned to speak Russian! I really enjoy learning about different cultures and would like to work with people from other countries someday. While in school I was part of the Migrant Education Program and I have been working for them for a few years now.
I really think that this class is going to be fun, I enjoy the outdoors and I think that you will too after this class (if you don't already). My favorite thing to do outdoors is to go snowboarding, I have been snowboarding for about ten years or so... and I'm pretty good at it these days. I also have gotten into tennis recently and have found it to be surprisingly fun.
This is a picture of me just hanging out in Homer by an awesome fire, I didn't sleep much that night though because our tent was too close to the road and it sounded like cars were going to run me over all night... I was tired the next morning.
where is mr. spade on this list? i do not know if i like this whole leaving teachers out thing! what is going on?
