This two-week class is sponsored through the Migrant Education Program of the Anchorage School District. Qualifying students will have the opportunity to communicate about their experiences of hiking, fishing, orienteering, and exploring in the Southcentral region of Alaska. We will be using a variety of creative writing activities, photography, and technology tools to showcase the work we are doing in the class.
Keep your eyes on this blog for work by the students and staff of Write Alaska! After each hike, a group of students will report on what happened, post pictures from the adventure, and include some of the great writing and podcasts from that day's journeys.
